ERA RF Technologies, located at Teknopark Istanbul, develops domestic and national solutions in the fields of RF communication and defense technologies.
We are looking for an “Production Planning Engineer” to join our Production Planning team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare short, medium, and long-term production and material plans in alignment with customer orders, project schedules, and production capacity.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly production plans are executed on time and in compliance with quality targets, while monitoring operational objectives.
- Ensure that bills of materials (BOMs) for both mass production and prototypes are accurately defined and kept up-to-date within the ERP system.
- Maintain the accuracy and currency of planning data within ERP and MRP systems.
- Determine, monitor, and maintain appropriate safety stock levels for raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products.
- Prepare and issue production work orders, ensuring coordination with the relevant departments.
- Effectively coordinate planning processes across the Project, Procurement, Warehouse, Production, Quality, Logistics, and R&D departments.
- Conduct Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities, track material status in coordination with procurement teams, and take necessary actions.
- Plan outsourced processes and oversee these operations in coordination with the relevant departments.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly production performance reports to management.
- Conduct time studies, implement initiatives to enhance efficiency in production processes, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Monitor customer delivery deadlines, analyze potential deviations, and provide necessary updates.
- Perform cross-departmental performance and efficiency analyses to develop recommendations for process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a relevant engineering department from a university,
- 1–3 years of experience in production, planning, supply chain, or operations processes—or a recent graduate looking to pursue a career in these fields,
- Interested in material management, inventory tracking, and bills of materials (BOM), with a strong desire for professional development,
- Knowledgeable about production planning and control processes,
- Experienced with—or open to learning—ERP and MRP systems,
- Proficient in using MS Office programs, especially Excel,
- Possesses analytical thinking, problem-solving, and process improvement skills,
- Strong planning, organizational, and follow-up capabilities,
- Competent in time management, prioritization, and stress management,
- A team player who is responsible, disciplined, and results-oriented,
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work in coordination with various teams,
- Open to learning, with a positive and growth-oriented mindset,
- Able to commute easily to the Istanbul Technopark (Pendik/Istanbul) location.
