Test Analysis Technician

ERA RF Technologies, located at Teknopark Istanbul, develops domestic and national solutions in the fields of RF communication and defense technologies.

 

We are looking for an “Test and Analysis Technician” to join our Test and Analysis team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting RF, electronic, software, and system-level tests in accordance with technical procedures, test plans, and engineering documentation.
  • Setting up devices or systems to be tested, performing connection checks, and preparing hardware, software, and system configurations.
  • Assembling test setups consisting of measurement instruments, RF cables, antennas, attenuators, power supplies, and computers.
  • Performing measurements using laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and similar devices.
  • Recording test results and configurations in a traceable manner; preparing measurement tables, test forms, and reports.
  • Collaborating with hardware, software, digital design, and quality teams to support engineering groups in root cause analysis of issues.
  • Participating in the preparation and execution phases of environmental tests, EMI/EMC tests, and product characterization studies.
  • Taking part in system installation, integration, product demonstrations, field testing, and factory or site acceptance activities at domestic and international customer locations.
  • Preparing test equipment and system configurations prior to field activities, and reporting test data, observations, non-conformities, and actions taken following these activities.
  • Working in compliance with occupational health and safety, ESD (electrostatic discharge), information security, quality standards, and company procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of a vocational school or high school with a degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electrical-Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Mechatronics, Aircraft Technology, or a related field,
  • Preferably 1–3 years of experience in RF, electronic testing, product verification, production testing, or system integration,
  • Fundamental knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits,
  • Experience in soldering, wiring, connector assembly, and performing controlled interventions on electronic circuit boards,
  • Proficiency in using test and measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, etc.,
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, test procedures, and product documentation,
  • Holder of a Class B driver’s license with the ability to drive actively,
  • No restrictions on domestic or international travel; willingness to participate in field operations in various cities and at customer locations,
  • Capable of adapting to flexible working hours, intensive testing periods, and dynamic field conditions,
  • Detail-oriented, organized, responsible, results-driven, and a strong team player,
  • No issues regarding commuting to the Istanbul Technopark (Pendik/Istanbul) location.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Experience in the defense, communications, telecommunications, aerospace, space, or electronics manufacturing sectors,
  • Basic knowledge of test automation or data analysis using tools such as Python, C#, or similar,
  • Experience working with automated test equipment or computer-controlled test stations,
  • Experience with environmental testing, including EMI/EMC, temperature, vibration, humidity, or similar.
