Production Technician

ERA RF Technologies, located at Teknopark Istanbul, develops domestic and national solutions in the fields of RF communication and defense technologies.

 

We are seeking an “Production Technician” to join our production facility in the Aktürk Industrial Complex in Pendik.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the THT (Through-Hole Technology) assembly, soldering, and production processes for electronic circuit boards,
  • Work in accordance with production instructions, technical documentation, and quality standards,
  • Support cabling, mechanical assembly, product integration, and testing processes,
  • Use materials, equipment, and hand tools correctly and safely during production,
  • Report any defects or non-conformities identified during production to the relevant departments,
  • Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols, and production area guidelines,
  • Contribute to initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, process development, and continuous improvement,
  • Take responsibility for maintaining the order and cleanliness of the production area and ensuring the proper care of equipment. 

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of a university or high school program in fields such as Electrical, Electronics, Electrical-Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Mechatronics, Aircraft Technology, or a related discipline;
  • Preferably experienced in the production, testing, and quality control processes of cable harnesses for aviation and defense industry projects;
  • Experienced in using hand tools (crimping, pin insertion/extraction, wire stripping, etc.);
  • Preferably skilled in precision soldering;
  • Capable of reading, understanding, and interpreting technical drawings and documentation;
  • Experienced in production processes in compliance with general IPC and ESD standards;
  • Proficient in using laboratory equipment such as soldering irons, heat guns, measuring instruments, and microscopes;
  • Experienced in the production of electronic boards and devices, as well as precision assembly;
  • Able to analyze problems encountered during the production process and develop solutions;
  • Proficient in using MS Office programs;
  • Able to keep pace with a high-intensity work environment;
  • A strong team player;
  • Residing in a location with convenient access to the Aktürk Industrial Zone (Aktürk Sanayi Dünyası) in Pendik.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Experience with military-grade cabling/production within the defense or aviation sectors;
  • Knowledge of or certification in IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, or J-STD-001 standards;
  • Experience using ERP, production tracking, or inventory management systems.
