Test Analysis Engineer
ERA RF Technologies, located at Teknopark Istanbul, develops domestic and national solutions in the fields of RF communication and defense technologies.
We are looking for an “Test and Analysis Engineer” to join our Test and Analysis team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting RF, electronic, software, and system-level tests based on technical procedures, requirements, and documentation;
- Setting up the devices or systems to be tested. Preparing hardware, software, and system configurations;
- Designing test plans and test environments based on product requirements;
- Developing scripts for the automation of test scenarios;
- Setting up test rigs consisting of measurement instruments, RF cables, antennas, attenuators, power supplies, and computers;
- Performing measurements using laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes, and multimeters;
- Documenting test results and configurations in a traceable manner, and preparing measurement tables, test forms, and reports;
- Collaborating with production, hardware, software, digital design, and quality teams to support engineering groups in root cause analysis of issues;
- Participating in the preparation and execution phases of environmental testing, EMI/EMC testing, and product characterization;
- Conducting system installation, integration, product demonstrations, field testing, factory and site acceptance activities, and other necessary operations at domestic and international customer sites;
- Preparing test equipment and system configurations prior to field activities, and reporting test data, observations, non-conformities, and actions taken following these activities;
- Working in compliance with occupational health and safety, ESD (electrostatic discharge) protocols, information security, quality standards, and company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a university program in Electronics, Electrical-Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Mechatronics, or a related field,
- Proficient in using test and measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, etc.,
- Knowledgeable in Python for script writing and basic test automation,
- Capable of interpreting and applying electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, test procedures, and product documentation,
- Possesses fundamental knowledge of network technologies and wired/wireless communication,
- Holds a Class B driver’s license and is an active driver,
- Able to travel domestically and internationally, and participate in field operations in various cities and at customer locations,
- Adaptable to flexible working hours, intensive testing periods, and dynamic field conditions,
- Dynamic, detail-oriented, organized, responsible, results-driven, and a strong team player,
- Able to commute easily to the Istanbul Technopark (Pendik/Istanbul) location.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience in the defense, communication, telecommunications, aerospace, space, or electronics manufacturing sectors,
- Experience in RF, electronic testing, product verification, production testing, or system integration,
- Knowledge of basic test automation or data analysis using C# or similar tools,
- Experience working with computer-controlled test stations,
- Experience with environmental testing (e.g., EMI/EMC, temperature, vibration, humidity),
- Experience in software testing (SDET) and/or network administration (CCNA certification is a plus).
