Accounting Specialist

ERA RF Technologies, located at Teknopark Istanbul, develops domestic and national solutions in the fields of RF communication and defense technologies.

 

We are looking for an “Accounting Specialist” to join our Finance team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating and verifying daily accounting records in compliance with the Tax Procedure Law (VUK) and other relevant legislation; overseeing the accounting of purchase and sales invoices, bank transactions, payments, and collections.
  • Performing reconciliations for customer and supplier accounts; preparing accounts receivable/payable aging reports and supporting the tracking of payments and collections.
  • Managing and overseeing processes related to e-Invoices, e-Archives, e-Ledgers, and other electronic documentation.
  • Assisting with period-end closing procedures; verifying account reconciliations, accruals, and foreign currency valuation entries.
  • Supporting the preparation and verification of data required for tax returns and statutory filings.
  • Contributing to budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management; coordinating payment schedules with relevant departments.
  • Supporting processes related to independent audits, certified public accountant (YMM) reviews, tax inspections, and incentive audits; contributing to internal controls, ERP systems, electronic documentation, automation, and process improvement initiatives. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Finance, Finance, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, or a related field,
  • Preferably 1–4 years of experience in finance/accounting,
  • Knowledge of general accounting processes, the Tax Procedure Law (VUK), and fundamental tax legislation,
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs, with an advanced level of expertise in Excel,
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills,
  • Effective planning, prioritization, task tracking, and time management abilities; capable of adapting to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment,
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills; committed to ethical values, confidentiality, and internal control principles,
  • No issues regarding commuting to the Teknopark Istanbul location (Pendik/Istanbul).

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Experience in accounting/finance within the defense industry, technology, R&D, or manufacturing sectors,
  • Knowledge of or experience with Technology Development Zones (TDZs), R&D incentives, and the financial processes of companies benefiting from such incentives,
  • Familiarity with inventory, fixed asset, and cost accounting processes; experience in ERP development, process automation, data analysis, or management reporting,
  • Proficiency in using the Logo Tiger Enterprise ERP system,
  • Possession of a SMMM (Certified Public Accountant) license.
